Voter Information

In Kansas, registering to vote is simple and can be done by filing a paper or online application. Anyone who is a US citizen, 18 years or older, a resident of Kansas, and has completed the terms of any sentence from a felony conviction, is legally qualified to vote. Voter registration books close 21 days before an election until the election is complete. Registrations received within 21 days of an election will  be processedafter the election.

City Council elections in Prairie Village are non-partisan, meaning that anyone registered to vote may do so regardless of party affiliation.
